3 websites that pay you (for all … not just bloggers)

websites that pay you

Several days ago, I transferred $63 into my bank account from my PayPal. This money was from simply sharing things on the Internet. It was the extra little bit that I needed this month. It was awesome!

When I got to thinking about it, there are several websites and apps that I use that pay you. That’s right … they pay you actual money that you can deposit into your account. These three sites pay you to do what you already do. So since I’m a loyal user of all three, I thought I would share them with you all. Who here would love a few extra hundred bucks this month?

So without further ado, here they are. Also I want to note that you do not need to be a blogger for any of these.

3. Ibotta

Who here grocery shops? Okay that’s basically everyone. This is an app for that. Basically there are different rebates for the things you normally buy. Sometimes they’re brand specific and sometimes they’re not. So for example, several weeks ago there was a $3 rebate for Budlight. While that’s not necessarily my beer of choice, it was my best friend’s bachelorette party. So I bought it. Or there might be say a 50 cent rebate on a certain brand of cheese. Or there might be a rebate for any cereal, any apples, etc. Basically all the things you normally buy are on the app.

Before I go grocery shopping, I take a few minutes to look through the rebates and add anything that looks good. After I’m done shopping, all I have to do is take a picture of my receipt and scan the bar codes of the products I got. The rebate usually appears on the app within 24 hours. I have earned over $70 in rebates from this app alone.

In addition to groceries, you can also earn rebates from other things through Ibotta. Uber is now offer $1 per ride as long as you book the ride through the app. If you take Uber frequently, that money would surely add up. Also websites such as Amazon, Ebay, Hotels.com, Groupon and iTunes  have rebates on Ibotta.

If you join with my referral code RCDHTFA, you will get $10 when you redeem your first rebate. Click here to create your account.

2. Payperpost

This one is literally that simple. They pay you to post articles on social media. Each day in the content amp section they have a list of all kinds of articles you can share. There are all sorts of topics. You share it and then get paid per click. You can link a personal page or a fan page.

So about once a day, I log on and share whatever I find to be interesting. It literally takes maybe 3 minutes out of my daily life. Click here to create yourself a profile and start sharing.

1. Ebates

This app works similarly to Ibotta except with less of a focus on grocery shopping. Basically all that you do is use all the websites you already know and love, but you use them through the website or app. When you make a purchase, you get a rebate. As a travel blogger, I book a lot of flights, hotels and rental cars. I always use Ebates when I make these purchases. It really all adds up.

What can you find on Ebates? Hotels.com, Orbitz, Etsy, booking.com, Kohls, and so many more. In fact, it’s worth it to always just check if Ebates offers something for whatever you need to buy. They seem to have just about everything.

When you join and make a purchase of at least $25, you get an extra $10. That’s how it worked for me! I needed to book a hostel room for a friend of mine and I. I booked it and got almost half of the money back. How crazy is that? Click here to join and start earning.

Well I hope you’ve found this helpful to putting some extra cash in your pockets. Do you have any other sites you use?
