Blogger linkups

Blogger linkups are a great way to get new traffic to your blog and discover new blogs. I regularly participate in many (20-30) each week and have seen a growth in readership. What is a linkup? A linkup is basically a weekly or monthly party that one blogger or a group of bloggers host on their page(s) each week. At the bottom of their post that day, there’s a form where you submit your link to a recent post. In exchange, they like you to link back to their blog on your post and encourage you to interact with other bloggers in the linkup via commenting.

I’ve had some of my new blogger friends ask about linkups, so I thought I’d make a little list of the linkups I participate in. If you have a linkup not listed here and want to be listed, please e-mail me at aworldofdresses@gmail.com.

Monday

  • Hello Monday, More Pieces of Me and Sincerely Jenna Marie. A weekly link party with no real theme. In their words: “Whether it’s fashion, lifestyle, fitness, food, or DIY, share your latest musings.” They ask you link to their blogs and follow them on Instagram or Bloglovin.
  • Let it Shine, Still Being Molly and Lipgloss and Crayons. This is a weekly blog party focusing on whatever you want to let shine! It seems to mostly be fashion bloggers.
  • Monday Linkup, Beauty by Miss L. This is a weekly fashion linkup. The host said she only wants people to link up outfit and fashion posts. In exchange she wants you to comment on her post and as many others in the linkup as you can.
  • Start the Week Stylish, Michelle’s Pa(i)ge and Northwest Blonde. A weekly link up for fashion and outfit posts. The hosts ask that you follow them on Instagram.
  • I Will Wear What I like, Not Dressed as Lamb. I really like the story behind this weekly linkup. Back in 2015, a journalist compiled a list of things deemed “inappropriate” for women over 30. Many style bloggers were outraged and started an Instagram campaign with the hashtag #iwillwearwhatilike. It was so popular that Catherine decided to turn it into a weekly link party where women of all ages are welcome to link up posts about whatever they are wearing, whether people have told them they can wear it or not. Anything that is not an outfit or fashion post gets removed.
  • Color and Grace Fashion Linkup, Color and Grace. A weekly linkup for fashion posts. The host just asks that you follow her on social media.
  • Visible Monday, Not Dead Yet Style. A weekly linkup that started in 2011. Post whatever makes you feel visible and confident, whether that’s fashion, makeup, a new hair style or something else that makes you feel confident.
