Pieces to Peaces headscarves

Peaces to Pieces headscarves

I find myself getting stuck in ruts with my hair. I either wear it down and straight (well my hair is naturally straight) or up in a ponytail. However I’ve found that a headscarf can add a little extra to your look and can be perfect for those days you just want to throw your hair up in a bun. Today I’m showing the looks I created with three different Pieces to Peaces headscarves.

What is Pieces to Peaces?

Pieces to Peaces is an American company based in Olympia, Washington. All of their products are handmade by a team of women. They make headscarves, ear warmers, scarves and beanies. You can order their products on their website, at the Olympia Farmer’s Market or you can sell them yourself through their wholesale program if you have a business yourself!

I love that their products can be purchased on the Internet. I live in Granada, Spain and received them in the mail without any problems. We live in such a great time for small businesses owners. If they know how to do things right, they can really profit off of the Internet.

The yellow headscarf

When picking out my Pieces to Peaces headscarves, I went for one solid-colored one. I wanted one that I could easily add to different outfits. This style is actually called a love knot.

This look was in a recent post. I had sort of a gold theme going here with my accessories and sweaters.

The plaid headscarf

This plaid print really jumped out at me as I was on the Pieces to Peaces headscarves website. This style is called the peace band. This went perfectly with this new red dress I found at the market on my trip to Guadix, this town outside of Granada.

The ear warmer

When I placed this order, I knew that winter was approaching. Southern Spain actually gets cold in the winter. A lot of people just think it’s warm here year-round. So not true. So I thought I would get an ear warmer. I liked this deep red color.

I love this ear warmer and likely wear it the most out of all of them. It’s so easy to just throw in my purse and put on when I leave the house. My lifestyle in Spain means that I spend more time outside than I did in the United States. In the US, I always had a car. In the winters, I would just drive everywhere. However in Spain I walk or take public transportation. That means more time outside walking and waiting. So it’s important for me to stay warm. If I have the right clothing, staying warm can be easy.

Do you like to wear headscarves or ear warmers?

Today I’m linking up here.

I received the headscarves as a gift in exchange for this review. I also received other parts of my outfits for free from past collaborations. All opinions are my own.
