I don’t know about you, but I’m quite happy that spring has sprung! I love being able to wear my dresses without tights and I love busting out all the floral prints. So I was happy to find this Primark spring dress for only 8 euros!
As you may have seen on Instagram or my previous post, I spent this past Saturday in Ronda, Spain. Ronda is an adorable small town about an hour outside of Malaga. My friend Karla and I made a day trip out there from Granada. Like me, she also teaches English in Spain.
Fashion bloggers do you ever have those friends who are super excited to help with photography? Whenever I travel with friends, I always ask them if it’s cool if I had them my iPhone or camera to shoot a few for the blog. Of course I never want to bug them. Karla, however, was like “oh look at that spot! This would be great for some photos!” And I must say, she really did a great job!
I feel very lucky to have Primark in Granada. We recently got a shopping mall. It’s always interesting comparing cultures. When you live in a foreign country, you are constantly comparing yours to the one you live in. In the United States, we have shopping malls everywhere. Some are quite large and fancy. Nevada Shopping is the first mall in Granada and it’s about the size of an average United States mall. However Spaniards are always like “es muy grande!” (it’s so big). I just smile and nod. I also think about Robin Scherbatsky’s “Let’s go to the mall” from How I met your Mother. Was anyone else a fan of that show?
Anyway, for those of you who do not know Primark, it’s an affordable shop in Europe. It sort of reminds me of Old Navy but with even better prices. The dress was a Primark find, the shoes are from Sfera and the jacket is from a local Ronda shop called Aerostato.
Happy Wednesday! Today I am linking up here.
