One of my favorite things about traveling are the spots you find. Some spots provide you with the best view. In Milan, there is one spot that you absolutely must have a drink in. That’s Terraza Aperol. From here, you can get the best Duomo view in the city.
Several weeks ago, I met up with my friend Alex from East Coast Contessa in Milan for a weekend. She recently moved to Prague and I lived in Spain. We searched for where we could find the cheapest airfare, and ended up finding some good deals to Milan. So we figured “why not?”
The Aperol Spritz
The Aperol spritz is a popular drink in Italy. It consists of Prosecco, Aperol, a splash of soda and an orange slice. It’s one of those drinks that’s super refreshing. It’s a must-try if you find yourself in Italy!
It can be found in many spots. Heck they had it available at the hostel we stayed at! This place, however, had a long list of different varieties to try out!
The best Duomo view
The city of Milan has quite an incredible cathedral called the Duomo. While it was raining, we were able to capture some amazing shots from the terrace. I’m sure in the warmer months, that terrace is packed with people.
The interiors
We absolutely loved the interior decorations of this place. It has sort of this modern vibe. They also bring you chips with your drink! While a drink here is a tad pricey (talking around 11€), the free chips are amazing!
It was raining that day. However this spot was the perfect escape from the rain!
