About me/Contact

Hello! I’m so glad that you’ve decided to stop by. My name is Nina and I’m the voice behind A World of Dresses. This blog is a mixture of travel, fashion and stories about living overseas. While I’m from the United States, I have been living in Spain for the past three years. In addition to blogging, I do some freelance writing and English teaching.

This blog started with a dress … that thing that women around the world have been wearing for centuries. For about the past 6-8 years, dresses have been a part of my every day style. Several years back, I counted over 50 in my closet and thus decided to take a dress challenge. I would simply wear a different dress each day for the entire month and document the journey on social media. It was just for fun and I had lots of it! My friends and family also had fun watching it. The following winter, I discovered Dressember and decided to again take the dress challenge. This time, however, it would be to do something bigger than myself. Dressember is a campaign in December where women raise money for organizations working to end human trafficking. I loved that my dresses could help do some good. I raised a total of $510 that year!

Here are a few posts I’m especially proud of:

Since the start of my blog, it’s gone from a fashion blog to a travel and fashion blog. Over the past four years, I’ve partnered with a number of clothing brands, tourism boards and hotels. Feel free to reach out if you want to collaborate!

I also do some freelance writing from time to time. You can find some more information about that here.

Also, I can be found on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. I’d love it if you followed along.
