I’ll admit that it’s been a while since I wore an elegant, feminine dress. You know … one that twirls and looks fabulous with a good pair of heels. However this Marraine Boutique pink dress did just the trick.
This was my last photo shoot in Granada for a while. Some of you may have seen on social media that I moved from the South of Spain to the North. It was fun to shoot some photos in some of my favorite spots around the city.
This summer, I was lucky to travel to the beach several times. Between Alicante and Mallorca (not to mention the Andalucía region), Spain really is lucky to have such beautiful beaches. Thus it has got me thinking about and shopping for summer dresses.

Last weekend, I took a quick trip to Madrid.
This summer is looking a tad different for me. Last summer, I was in the Czech Republic and exploring countries such as Hugary and Germany. This summer, I’ve decided to stay in Spain and work a little bit. I’m working for an English summer camp in the Pyrenees Mountains and Palma de Mallorca. I had to meet my coworkers in Madrid last Saturday, so I decided to make an evening of it.
Traveling from Granada to Madrid is pretty easy to do. As I’ve mentioned before on the blog, I prefer to travel with Blablacar. I found a Blablacar that left at 10 a.m., which put me into Madrid in the mid-afternoon. I took the Metro to my hostel, which was very easy to navigate.
For the longest time, I never ordered anything online. I was afraid of getting the item in the mail and never being able to wear it because it didn’t fit. I had simply been so used to just trying everything on in the dressing room. However ordering dresses online can actually be a time-saver if you know how to do it right.
I really like ordering dresses online. Sometimes I go shopping with a specific idea in my head. For example, I’ll want a flowy maxi dress with a floral print. Yet everything I come across in the mall just isn’t what I had envisioned in my head. So I come home with nothing. In my opinion, I had just wasted a few hours of my precious time. However many online retailers have hundreds of dresses to choose from. You can often search by style, size, cut and color.

There are some places that I feel like I’ll end up visiting a least 20 times. London is one of those cities. With flights for 60 euros roundtrip from Malaga, we figured why not a London weekend? The trip ended up being absolutely perfect.
So as some of you already know, I live in Granada. While Granada does have an airport, it’s small and there are often better deals from Malaga. Malaga is only an hour and a half drive from Granada. Furthermore there are lots of Blablacars and buses that go back and forth. I typically try to find a Blablacar going directly to the airport as it’s cheaper and quicker. However if I cannot find one, there’s an Alsa bus that goes directly from the Granada bus station to the Malaga airport. We opted for the bus this time, which cost around 25 euros roundtrip.
You all know that traveling and fashion are my two greatest loves, however, when it comes to long-term travel, some people struggle with getting the perfect balance between practicality and fashion. It can be hard to pack light but still be able to put together looks that make you feel stylish. Here is how I manage to balance the two.
Last weekend, I visited London for the third time ever. However this trip was a bit different than the last two. Perhaps it was the weather. It was incredibly nice the entire time without a drop of rain. Or perhaps it was the beer. This time around we decided to go on a Soho Pub Crawl and it was quite a blast.
