What to Wear?

Okay Ladies you may be wondering what does one wear on a date night? Whatever your little heart’s desire as long as it is chic and hot! How can you be Chic and Hot at the same time? Easy, keep your attire cute and classy (CAC)! Love It! In other words keep it Simple! There is no need to go all out and spend a fortune on an outfit as long as you can be chic. You can be fashionable with the clothes already in your closet. Remember that everyone has their own sense of style so, do not feel pressured or challenged by what you may see someone else wear as this is a time for relaxation not a pass or fail test on who wore it better! You can choose whether or not to wear a dress, jeans and a cute top, high heels or flats, as it is a personal choice for the occasion in which you have planned.

I chose to wear a colorful floral dress with hints of reds, gold and black with a pair of cream high-heeled suede boots and a black sweater to tie it all together. I chose this outfit because I knew that my husband and I were going to an elegant restaurant for dinner and then to hear some jazz afterwards. The outfit that I chose would serve its purpose for style, comfort and keeping my husband’s attention! I will be able to comfortably enjoy myself in a relaxing atmosphere and still look stunning while doing so!

How I Style It: First Date Looks

first night

Good morning all! So today we are linking up with Bright on a Budget, Della Devoted, Garay Treasures, bybmg and Glitter + Ruffles in the How I Style It Look. I’m also linking up with Jersey Girl Texan Heart in her Wednesday link-up.

Untitled (1) (1)

Jersey Girl, Texan Heart Link Up

So I initially found out about the How I Style It link-up in an email from Tif at Bright on a Budget. I subscribe to bloggers who are where I’d like to be one day, and she is for sure one of them. When I saw that it was about a date night look, it got me thinking. Truth be told, I’m not dating anyone right now. The last time I’ve been on a “date” was about six months ago.

Then I started thinking about the first date and how I would style a first date look if I were to go on one. I’m a fan of The Mindy Project and I remember first season one of the characters telling Mindy that her first date outfit was too much. I can’t remember the character … one of the guys. He said something like “minimal make, simple dress.” It’s funny how that moment has stuck out in my head since.

Furthermore, I’m sure there are lots of ladies out there unsure of what to wear on a first date. It is for sure nerve-wracking. Also since many of us Internet date now, this may be the very first time you’re meeting the person face-to-face. Making a good first impression is key.

So here are my rules guidelines for first date looks:

1. Something classically me

first date

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve worn this dress. You’d think I’d found it at a vintage store, but I actually found it at Target about a year and a half ago. It is comfy and easy to style.

2. Something simple and classy

first date

A first date is not the time to try anything crazy or too fashion-forward. This dress is just a simple piece that zips up the back. Furthermore, it looks great in the summer with a simple pair of flat sandals, black heels or as is in the picture with some boots. I also wear these boots all the time. Also if you’re taller like me, opting for flat shoes can be great. There’s nothing more awkward (at least for me) than being taller than the guy when you meet. I don’t know … I always like the guys I date to be taller than me.

3. Jewelry and Makeup simple

first date

These pictures were taken yesterday at 8 a.m., providing for a lot of sunlight and interesting shadows. The only jewelry I’m wearing are a pair of black earrings I got in Nicaragua. My hair is pulled back. I also often just have my hair long and down. Again simple and nothing too crazy.

first date

first date

Well those are a few of my tips for first date looks. What tips do you have when dressing for a first date? Feel free to leave me comments below about what you’ve found to work. Also funny stories are always welcomed. I have a few of those for sure too.

My first reiki experience

I tried reiki today. As many of you may already know, I lost my mother several weeks ago. I’m also the kind of person who just stays super busy. In moments of struggle, I use this as a way to cope. If I stay constantly on the go, I have no time to be sad. While there is something to be said for getting out there, today taught me that it is okay to sit with the pain of loss.

Back in the cold and chilly beginning of December, I met Tisa from Love Light & Laughter at the Covington Baazar. That night I had planned a girls night with several close friends. When I saw things on Facebook about the baazar, I figured why not add that to our night? I’m so glad we made it a part of our evening because I may have not otherwise met Tisa. She and I struck up a conversation about her business and my blog. I gave her my contact info and we soon set up a time for me to write about her new venture.

My mom’s passing threw my blog schedule out of whack a bit, which is okay! I knew that it was 100% okay to just take some me time. I reached out to Tisa explaining that her post would appear later, which she was so very understanding of. She also offered to perform reiki on me as a gift. I’m always open to trying new things, so I was down.

reiki

Before this session, I knew just a smidgen about reiki. I knew that it fell in the holistic healing category. According to reiki.org, reiki is a Japanese treatment for stress reduction and relaxation that also can be used for healing. The whole idea is that the healing happens through the laying of hands. That link can probably explain it better than I can.

I knew that reiki had it’s skeptics since it’s not conventional medicine. Naturally people would be weary about something that is just a person touching or laying their hands on you. That part actually intrigued me a lot. I love giving life to things people are unsure of. And I’ll admit that I too simply wondered how it all would work.

The thing I love about Tisa is that she takes all these things that seem out of this world and makes them relatable. When talking about energies and chakras, it can sound a little bit like some fairy tale or fantasy world. But she does a great job at making them relatable and tangible. She, just like the rest of us, is a normal person trying to figure out how to live in the most healthy and holistic way. That comes across 120% in her work. There’s a lot of laughter involved. And if you have a stupid question or concern, you feel comfortable to ask it. I love that.

After about 10 minutes of conversation and filling out a short intake form, I took my shoes off and laid on my back on her table. I was given a face mask like the ones you get on long international flights to block out the light. I was told to start by focusing my breathing as she walked around the table. The session lasted about an hour and included some light touching, beating of a drum and sprinkling of some oils, all while soothing music was played in the background.

At first, it was a tad strange. While I was told to relax, I had trouble doing so. Furthermore, when she initially laid hands on me, I startled a bit. However I’m sure that’s normal for people who have never tried reiki before. Furthermore, I’ve been in a closed off space over the last few weeks. So it was tough to get in there at first, she said.

As the treatment went on, I began to feel more relaxed and comfortable. It was simply nice to be in a space where there were no expectations of me. I was to just be and breathe. She told me to envision love and light. This lead me to think about my mom. My mom was one of my biggest sources of love and support. She loved me for me and then affirmed me in that. Her encouragement always had such a strong impact on my life. Affirmation came so naturally to her. Comments such as “you look so pretty today” or “I just love reading everything you write. You’re such a great writer” came so easily to her. I started this blog after she went to the hospital, so she’s never really had the chance to read it. However if she was still alive and well, I know she’d be reading every post, commenting and sharing them on Facebook.

I began to think about her love and affirmations as I was on Tisa’s table. On one hand, her death creates an absence in my life. No one will ever take her place. I’m so thankful that I had such a loving and supportive mother. I’m going to miss her every single day. On the other hand, she set such an amazing example. I can take that love she’s given me and give it to other people. I can be the one to affirm my friends and family in their gifts. And I can do it in the spirit of my mother. Even though she is gone, her spirit is alive in all who she touched.

After the session was over, Tisa chatted with me about it all. She said she could feel the pain and loss I’m experiencing. She also saw nature as a part of my healing. I needed to get outside amongst tress and just be with my memories of my mother. She also gave me two crystals: Amethyst and Green Aventurine. I have the option to use them for healing if I would like.

After I left my session, my next appointment that day got cancelled. That time in nature was just meant to be. I found a park, and got out with just my camera and keys. My phone stayed in the glove compartment.

The walk was just what I needed. I also snapped a few amazing photos.

reiki

reiki

reiki

Today was just what I needed. I plan to return for another session of reiki next week. I also plan to find more time to be in nature. If you’re on the fence about trying reiki, you most definitely should. You simply feel more grounded and energized afterwards. For me, spending time with memories of my mother had to happen. Reiki simply brought that to the surface and made me conscious that I needed that.

You should most definitely check out http://lovelightlaughterhealing.com/. Tisa offers many things. She also makes her own products that can be found in four different locally-owned shops in the Cincinnati area: Under the Stars, The Colorful Cupboard, Hope Springs Institute and Funky Sunshine.

Hangers and surprises for Sara, a bride to be

This Saturday was the reveal of two secrets for one of my best friends from college. Sara and I met 10 years ago as freshmen at WKU. It’s crazy how time flies. I was thrilled when she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. As such, part of the fun is the wedding shower, which was this past Saturday in Danville, Kentucky.

Secret number 1

Secret number one was initially birthed when I wrote about my friend Megan’s business Hang it Up Hangers. She designs these personalized wedding dress hangers that look amazing in photos the day of and make for a great keepsake for years to come. This was back in November just as Sara was beginning the wedding planning crunch. In conversation the hangers came up. She said something to the effect of “they look great but I cannot justify spending money on something that is not as essential as other things.” I get it … weddings are expensive. However the great thing about being a bridesmaid is that you can get those more splurge-y items for the bride.

Secret number 2

Secret number two was a surprise in person-form. Her maid of honor is her grad school pal Katie. Katie also lives in Denver, Colorado and thus Sara didn’t want to make her feel as though she needed to fly out to Kentucky for a 2-4 hour event. Katie, however, thought it would be especially neat if she surprised her. So she let myself, Sara’s fiance and Sara’s future sister-in-law in on the big secret. She flew into the Cincinnati airport Friday night and stayed at my house.

Saturday morning we drove down to Lexington to meet Sara and Brandon for brunch at Cracker Barrel. We decided to heighten the surprise by having Katie nonchalantly sit down about five minutes after Sara arrived. I even had the wait staff in on the surprise as I told them “I want a table for four but make it seem like it’s a table for three.” They were great. So Katie just walks in and sits down. Katie said the look on Sara’s face was worth the whole trip. She was so surprised.

After brunch we headed out to Danville where Sara’s future aunt-in-law lives. When it came time to open the hanger, she was so surprised and excited as well.

sara

I love how detailed Megan is in her work. The reason Sara wore this sweater is because teal is one of her wedding colors. Megan did an excellent job at matching the flower color. The letters also of course look amazing. To learn more visit her Etsy shop here.

Overall operation Surprise Sara was a success. Now onto planning that bachelorette party which will be full of more Sara surprises …

H54F: I have made it

visit

Happy Friday everyone. It’s High Five for Friday! First off, this week I’m linking up with Tif from Bright on a Budget, Della from Della Devoted, Caitlin from Coffee with Caitlin and Katie from KT Cup of Tea. I’m also linking up with Oh Hey Friday and Awesome Life Friday.

The photo above says so much about my life right now. My mother passed away three weeks ago. The funeral was on a Tuesday and the weekend right after, two of my college friends came to visit me. These are ladies that have been close friends of mine for 10 years. Above I am pictured with Elizabeth, one of the two friends. We were shopping at Jungle Jims. For those of you unfamiliar with Cincinnati, Jungle Jim’s is this large grocery store with food from all over the world, categorized by country. The experience is meant to be fun and interactive. It was the perfect place to explore on a Monday morning.

They just randomly had some airplane seats in the wine section and we had a camera. We decided to shoot a few photos pretending as though we were on an airplane. I say that this photo says so much because it really portrays my current state. Here I am in my classic “lazy” look. I hadn’t showered this morning, so I threw my hair into a cute bun. I put on some jeans, boots, a sweater and a scarf to complete the look. To outsiders and people unconcerned with fashion, it looks great! I color-coordinated, applied some eyeliner and am even wearing jewelry! I’m dressing as though all is well.

Being on an airplane is quite fitting too. I’ve never lost someone this close to me. It’s a journey with a lot of unexpected bumps. And lastly, me holding Elizabeth’s hand is quite symbolic too. Through all of this, you have SO many people reaching out to you saying “let me know if you need anything.” I really do appreciate it. However in some ways, it feels strange coming from people that I barely know. So in the end when you do need something, you know that close friends will always be there for you. I have their wonderful support. The fact that Liz and Kelly came up portrays this love and support.

This week’s High Five for Friday will be dedicated to Liz and Kelly. These are five things that are more fun when they are around.

Mimosa brunches

On Sunday morning (or should I say afternoon), we headed to the Comet for brunch. It was quite the happening spot. Liz seemed excited about how happening the place was.

visit

Trips to the record store

We were in Northside for brunch, so stopping at Shake it Records was a logical next step. Kelly asked about going to a record store anyway. When anyone ever asks to go to a record store in Cincinnati, Shake it is the obvious only choice.

visit

We spent a majority of our time in the basement. I thought about a few different things, but ultimately decided to save my money this time around. My friends, however, found some awesome stuff. Most of said stuff, however, I cannot remember. Haha.

visit

Taking uber

Sunday night we decided to visit Myrtle’s Punchhouse. Liz had heard about it and was most excited about the establishment her entire visit. We decided to make a night of it. We’d all get fancy and take an uber there. I’m convinced we thoroughly entertained all of our uber drivers.

Here are a few of our outfits for the evening:

Trips to Jungle Jims

Oh my gosh, this place is full of so many photo opps. My favorite is the fake outhouse by the bathrooms. Here are a few from that:

Also no shopping trip would be complete without Liz buying some random things. Fun fact: the guy she’s holding on the left is El Chavo from El Chavo de Ocho, a famous Mexican sitcom popular in the Spanish-speaking world. My boss at Su Casa told me I need to watch it.

visit

Friendship

Friendship is just better when they are around. When they first arrived late night Saturday, we stayed up until 4 a.m. chatting. It was just awesome.

My mom was always a big fan of both of these ladies. I’d like to think that she was looking down and smiling as we had a fun weekend together.

Also today I’m linking up with:

The exhilaration of putting on a hat to complete my look sends the chills of aspiration through my soul as I look in the mirror knowing that I have accomplished my goal of perfection! Yes my outfit is Flawless! You may think that I’m going a little overboard about wearing a hat, but you must realize that just by adding a simple accessory such as the hat can totally transform any look from drab to fab! What kind of hats might you ask? Oh My Gosh, this is the exciting part, as any kind of hat will suffice.

hats

Hat of Choice

Hats! The style, size, color, shape and material are all a personal preference. Big Hats, floppy hats, fedora hats, ball caps, newsboy caps, skullies and so much more. There are so many styles and variations of hats for you to choose from. But the most important thing for any fashion statement is to wear the one that brings out the confidence in you! Whatever makes you feel good wear it! You will automatically look good!

Time for Hats

This is the season that you open up your closets and pull out that hat that sets your mood. Yes it’s cold outside, and we all understand but this does not mean that you have to exit your home looking like an individual with no sense of style! Choosing the hat that will keep you warm on the inside but have you looking like you are dreary on the outside is not a stylish option. Maybe you feel that you don’t want to be stylish and only want to stay warm? If this is you, that’s all right, as keeping healthy always takes precedence over style any day. Although you may have your doubts about wearing certain kinds of hats in this weather, there is an alternative to having both warmth and style when choosing any hat from your closet.

Wearing Hats with Style, Ease and Comfort

You may be wondering how you can wear a stylish hat and still keep warm in freezing degree weather. Well, it’s easy. Any hat that you may have no matter the size or shape can be worn. You simply add a scarf over your head allowing the ends to drape around your neck and then add your hat! Bam! You are now warm, comfortable and stylish! That way upon entering your destination whether your office, church or a friend’s house, you can once again simply remove your hat, undrape your scarf and put your hat back on! Styling and warming yourself with the rays of inner glow as you exude confidence knowing that your hat is killing it!

Enjoy this cold weather, taking advantage of the various ways that you can enhance your wardrobe with the assortment of hats. Yes hats! This accessory is by far the best adornment that a woman can have in her closet. What are you waiting for? Get your hats ready for wearing! If you do not have a fashion forward hat in your closet then now is the time for you to get one. Yes, shopping time! L’BAE All Day… Every Day! I’m Pamela the Inspirationalist, make it a L’BAE Day!

Tisa and her healing studio

When thinking of Tisa’s business, zen with a little kick of fun is what comes to mind. I met Tisa, owner of Love Light & Laughter A Healing Studio, at the beginning of December on a bitter cold night. My friends and I were at the Covington Baazar where she had set up a table with all her wonderful products. We immediately hit it off. It also turns out that she lives less than a mile away from me! Such a small world!

DSC_0099

Tisa has been in the small business world for years. She had also been leading a natural lifestyle with gardening and composting. However she started looking into natural products when her son went to summer camp several years ago. The bug sprays often had a lot of deet in them. As she looked for natural products, she was dissatisfied with the “natural” products she found. They often still were not organic and still contained many of the harmful chemicals found in mainstream products. So instead, she decided to make her own.

So she started making making natural bug spray to give to people. Soon folks caught on via Facebook and wanted to buy them. Also during this time she was injured, so she did not really have the use of her legs. So she decided to use this time to make products in part for her own healing as well. The key is that she could help herself without the use of prescriptions.

12506507_10208787445510382_1512412495_n

“Love Light & Laugher products was born in my very own kitchen in 2014,” she said on her website. “With a little experimentation, lots of research, and a little luck, I have created a line of products that I am proud of.”

What began as something for herself and those around her has now blossomed into a business. Her line now includes bath salts, oils, healing soaps, glacier balms and perfume oils, all designed to be healing to people. If you live in the Cincinnati area, you can find her products at Funky Sunshine, The Colorful Cupboard and Hope Springs Institute. You can also buy them online through her website lovelightlaughterhealing.com/.

She also has her own healing studio in which she offers hot earth stone massage, SomaVeda Thai yoga, laughter yoga and Reiki. She had been thinking about getting certified in and offering these sessions for years. In fact, she would get massages and Reiki treatments regularly. However she found she was dissatisfied with her massage sessions she was receiving, so she decided to do it herself. Furthermore, sitting around all day gave her the time to go through courses and certifications online. You can book her for any of these services online or by calling 513.482.0907. She is currently accepting appointments.

Overall, Tisa loves being a female small business owner. She loves creating things and connecting with like-minded people in the community.

“I get to be creative and there’s nobody to tell me what I can and cannot do within my own creation,” she said. “… This is my baby. I get to decide which scents stay and which products go.”

L’BAE: The Winter Blue- Blahs

Our lovely weekly column from Ms. Pamela Pitts:

Hi L’BAE Nation you beautiful blessed people of God! Yes I know it’s ugly outside and there is nothing that you’s rather do than to sit by a fire place and drink hot cocoa, but unfortunately many of us have to go outside and tackle the coldness to work or to run errands. In either case, we have to go out! Let’s not think about the dreariness of the winter weather. Instead, let’s keep a ray of sunshine over our heads by dressing like it’s still spring and summer time. That’s right, add color!

winter

Color blocks the winter blue-blahs

Although your blues, blacks and grays may seem to match the weather outside, it’s time to take control! Take control of how you feel! If you feel blah, then you will dress and look blah. Adding color to your skin and wardrobe will enhance your emotional state, causing a positive reaction to occur. What does this mean? Add a new color lipstick, eye shadow or hair color to an accenting wardrobe and BAM you have hit the jackpot! (Check out the L’BAE Cosmetics/Consultants www.lbaeinspire.net) Colorful expression is key as they will go great with your blues, blacks and grays! What colors might you ask? Whatever colors you like! Don’t be afraid to mix and match your wardrobe. Polka-dots with solids are fab as well as stripes or a floral print. Be bold and stand out! This will make the sun shine through you despite the dull atmosphere that’s outside!

Hair and Makeup Color is a great place to start!

Let’s start with a new hair color! If you have been brunette or black, go a little lighter to auburn or light honey brown. One level of change will not be harsh on your hair. You can also add some caramel highlights if an all -over color is too drastic of a change . This color contrast will definitely create a sun-kissed new you without washing you out.

winter

Next you can try a new lip color such as a coral or a plum as these colors are bold and captivating to any smile. If you don’t wear lipstick, try a colored lip gloss as the shine and the moisture will make any pair of lips feel amazing in these cold temperatures. For those of us that like to color our eyelids, an awesome eye shadow such as the one from the L’BAE cosmetic line will make those eyes pop! During the winter blue blahs, try colors that will accentuate your eyes such as gold, bronze, pink and apricot. These will add a glow of warmth and a dazzle of glamour as you trod out into the sub- zero degree weather…. burr!

The Natural Look

If Makeup is not something that you are into and the bold statement pieces in your wardrobe do not exist, it’s okay. Just be natural and be you! A little lip gloss and mascara can awaken any face without all of the glitz, glamour and fuss. It’s Amazing! Try it! Whatever is in your wardrobe, you bought it! That means that you like it, so pick pieces that are interchangeable in order to make a creative outfit and this will become your bold statement look. Most importantly don’t forget to add color that will make your sun shine during the cold winter blue-blahs.

Thanks for reading and as always L’BAE All Day…Every Day! I’m Pamela the Inspirationalist!

My favorite mom memories

mom

Hey all. Lately I have been in less of a bloggy spirit. I lost my mother a little over a week ago. This next year will be tough and I just want to give myself the space to grieve. People deal with their emotions in different ways. For me, writing has always been one of my favorite ways to deal with tough things. Furthermore, my mom always loved reading my writing. I started this blog after she went to the hospital in August, so she never really got the chance to read it. However she was always my biggest supporter. I know that if she was still alive, she’d be reading every single post, commenting and sharing it on Facebook. She’d be telling me how proud she is of me and how great of a writer she thinks I am. It just seems fitting that I write about her. I know she’s looking down on me cheering me on.

I doubt that this will be my last time honoring her on the blog. People say that grieving is a long process. Six months, eight months or two years from now, it could just hit me. I actually remember having a conversation with my mom of all people about losing a parent. It was only a year or two ago. She lost her father when I was one. She was in her early thirties at the time and was devastated. The two of them were very close. She said that it still would hit her at times. For example, she’d be reading the newspaper and something would remind her of him. She could be a wreck for the next hour or two. I know I’ll have those moments as well. And when they do come, I just want to live in the moment, experiencing whatever emotion I am at that time.

Today I want to write about my favorite memories I shared with my mom. These are some of many amazing memories. I could not have asked for a better mom.

Reading together each night

My mom loved helping me learn. She also had a strong love for reading and passed that love along to me. It started with picture books and turned into chapter books when I got to that age. I loved that she continued reading with me throughout elementary school. I remember thinking it was so neat that we were reading chapter books.

Every night I would change into my pajamas and brush my teeth. Together my mom and I would open up whatever book we were reading. Page by page we would take turns while the other braided or brushed the other’s hair. The time I spent with my mom growing up was my safe place. With my mom, I was just free to be myself. I got made fun of a bit growing up. But my time spent with my mom was so pure. She just loved me for me and encouraged me to be exactly who I was. Through this she gave me a love of reading.

Visiting me in Washington, DC

I spent a year in Washington, DC my first full year out of undergrad about five years ago. I lived in a community house where I lucked into the largest room with a spare bed after a housemate moved out a few months in. That spare bed got used by many visitors including my mom. I had a bulletin board in my room with pictures, flyers, letters from friends and other sorts of things I found important. At one point, we were just having some down time in my room. After looking at said bulletin board she goes “I just like the person that you are.” It was just such a sweet and candid moment where she showed her love for me. She was always such a loving person that she probably didn’t think much of that moment. However she probably doesn’t know how many times I’ve thought back to that very moment. It has really encouraged me over the years to just be me.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games were one of her favorite book series. In fact, she owned several copies of each book for the sole purpose of lending them to other people. That was so very my mom. When she loved something, she shared it. She loved the story of The Hunger Games and the overall message behind it all.

So of course when the movies came out, she was so excited. I saw the movies several times with her, both in the theaters and at home. My best friend knows of my mom’s love of The Hunger Games. So for Christmas, she gave me two necklaces with the Mockingjay symbol on them. One was hung around her neck when she was buried and I have the other one. At some point soon, I will wear it for the first time.

Well it is late. I could write about easily 10 more memories. Instead, I’ll save those for another blog post. Mom I love and miss you.

Dress picks from Fox and Fable Vintage

This is our second post in our new Dress Picks series. Basically, we pick an online boutique that we love and pick our favorite dresses. Know of an amazing online boutique with great dresses? Feel free to drop us a line at aworldofdresses@gmail.com.

This week were featuring Fox and Fable Vintage, a vintage clothing shop based in Orange, California. While they opened a brick and mortar shop in California a year and a half ago, they have been selling vintage clothing online for the past six years or more. Husband and wife Molly and Mitch Fox own the entire operation. The two of them are incredibly passionate about the vintage lifestyle. They live in a 1950’s house, drive vintage cars and dress in vintage clothing every single day. The business started so they could share their love of all things vintage with others.

I found them on Instagram. If you’re not following us yet, by the way, you should (@aworldofdresses). They are always posting the most fun vintage dresses. I myself have always been a fan of vintage clothing, so I decided to reach out. They agreed to let me make my picks.

Green Mocha Chocolate Brown Pinup Day Dress

Fox

This one initially caught my eye on Instagram. I love the pattern. Definitely a unique dress that you’d be sure no one else would have.

Blue Aqua Party Dress

Fox

My favorite part of this one is the waist line. I love how it gathers together like that. Also the high neckline allows you to add perhaps a string of pearls or statement necklace to your outfit. Lastly, I’m always a fan of bold prints.

The crazy maxi

Fox

Sometimes old trends come back around again. The maxi dress is the perfect example. This dress would be perfect any time of the year. Spring especially comes to mind with the floral print.

The elegant dress

Fox

This one is just absolutely gorgeous! So very elegant. I love the back section with the bow.

Those are our picks for this week! Thanks again to Fox and Fable Vintage!
