I’ll admit that I look for rooftop bars when I travel. When the weather is right, there’s nothing like enjoying a drink with a lovely view beside you. Last fall, I found the cutest rooftop bar in Budapest and I have to share it with you!
First of all, this bar couldn’t be in a better spot! It sits above the Aria Hotel right in the center of Budapest. So if you’re looking for a place to stay in comfort, look no further!
The drinks
The High Note Skybar has quite the selection of drinks. The menu changes with the seasons. I remember getting something fruity. One of the drinks we tried was called “A float on the Ganges” and had some Indian influences.
The food
I’ll admit that I was super hungry when I arrived. Like starving. So I was very happy to discover that the High Note SkyBar has a food menu! We ordered these mouth-watering Hungarian appetizers that I have no joke thought about trying to make at home several times since our trip to Budapest.
These were basically like bread with sour cream and cheese on top. They were absolutely amazing and they definitely hit the spot! I was super hungry since we went to the High Note Sky Bar basically after checking into our hostel.

The views
The High Note is a fantastic rooftop bar in Budapest since it’s located right in the center of the city! Once you’re up on their terrace, there are two more terraces that you can go up on. Both provide a more intimate space to enjoy some snacks and beverages.
The hotel
