Fashion trends continue to ebb and flow between hot and not, but there are timeless accessories that belong in everyone’s wardrobe. Trendsetting is for the bold and the brave, and if you want to turn heads without turning up noses, you should consider adding well-known pieces to your closet that never go out of style.

When it comes to both shoes and watches, I’m very similar. I like to find something that will go with all of my crazy, colorful dresses. You see, I tend to be a bit of a bold shopper. I always seem to buy bright colors, bold patterns and lots of florals. As a result, the rest of my wardrobe consists of things to compliment my vibrant dresses, My new Jord watch is the perfect example of this!
Jord offers many different watch styles, all with a wooden band. I absolutely loved the simplicity of a wooden watch. It’s something simple yet classy. It’s something you can dress up or dress down. I chose a plum-colored clock face. It really has matched well with most if not all of my daily looks.
Going out is a big part of life in Spain. If Spaniards love anything, it’s being out and about socializing. One essential experience everyone has to try in this country is going out dancing. Every night out on the town needs at least a few going out looks to pick from!

I absolutely love finding hidden gems. That is exactly what I felt like I had discovered when I went to Miller St. Boutique several weeks ago. My friend Amber and I were exploring Butler County, Ohio, and a visit to this adorable boutique was a part of the itinerary.
The reason I say that Miller St. Boutique is a hidden gem is because it sits in a simple strip mall. I don’t know about you, but I typically think of chain restaurants and insurance agencies when the word strip mall comes to mind. I’m typically never expecting to find locally-owned boutiques full of adorable dresses, accessories and home decor. However that is exactly what we found in Miller St. Boutique.
Several weeks ago, I got to play dress up all day. As a fashion blogger, it’s basically my favorite thing. I was exploring the Liberty Center in Butler County, Ohio (USA) and the ladies at Talbots recommended we make one last stop before heading home. While I was a bit tired from our busy day, my friend Amber and I decided to pop in to see what the shop was all about.
The majority of the shops at the Liberty Center are the typical shops you find at shopping centers. There you can find shops such as Kendra Scott, Forever 21 and H&M. However this is exactly what makes a boutique like Sorella Boutique different. Unlike it’s neighbors, it’s locally-owned.
When I was in the United States over the holidays, I worked with a stylist. In fact, I had some looks picked out for me. Now I know you’re probably thinking “but Nina, you cannot afford that. You work as a teacher.” Well if you work with Talbots, you don’t need to be rich to enjoy the benefits of a personal styling session.
In early January, my friend Amber and I did a little collaboration with the Butler County Visitor’s Bureau. Part of that visit included shopping at the Liberty Center. Our first stop was Talbots, of course. The ladies working there were so nice and told me about a personal styling service they offer. Basically if you’d like, you can make an appointment with them. They pick out looks based on your style and you try them on. It’s perfect for people who either hate shopping, don’t know what wear or simply want to change their style. It’s completely free as well (although I’m sure the ladies are hoping you’ll take at least a few pieces home with you).
This Christmas, I spent almost a month in the United States! In addition to spending time with friends and family, I had a few blog collaborations on the calendar. One of those was with Gold Beret Boutique, a local vintage clothing shop in Middletown, Ohio.
Some of have likely never heard of Middletown. Well it’s a small town just north of Cincinnati in Butler County. At the beginning of January, I had sort of a two-day tour through Butler County on my schedule. One of those stops was at the most adorable vintage shop.

Why did you decide to get into image consulting and styling?
People are intrinsically valuable, but sometimes they loose sight of that. Feeling well dressed can remind you that you are a powerful person, and frame you in a positive light for those you meet.
About a month ago, I found myself exploring the beaches of Italy. I had flown to Milan for the weekend to catch up with an old college friend who also recently moved to Europe. Since the lovely coastal region of Cinque Terre is only a few hours away by train, we decided to spend one of our days exploring the beaches and adorable villages of that region. It was actually very easy to do Cinque Terre in one day!
Before this trip, I had assumed that Cinque Terre was just a town. I had seen Instagram and Pinterest posts with beautiful photos of the villages and beaches full of many colors. I knew it was a place that I would have to visit one day.
What I came to find out on this trip is that Cinque Terre is almost like a small region with a handful of small villages. In theory, you could walk from village to village. That would take you almost a day, so we opted to take the train from town to town. The walkways between some of the villages were also closed due to environmental problems, so it wouldn’t have been possible anyway.
With Christmas just a few short weeks away and party season in full swing, many of you will be facing the yearly issue of what to wear for the office Christmas party!
