Winter Wedding Dresses

Have you been invited to a winter wedding? I have. In fact, it’s basically the first thing I’m going to do when I arrive in the United States for the holidays. Winter wedding dresses are just a bit different than summer ones. It can be hard to know exactly what to wear in the colder months. However this post will serve as sort of a guide to how to dress and how to dress well for a winter wedding.

The dresses I’m showing you today are from Kemedress. Kemedress is an online company that makes 100% handmade dresses, according to their website. They have all the dresses you could ever need for your wedding day. In addition to wedding dresses, they also have bridesmaid, mother of the bride and flower girl dresses. Also if you’re simply a wedding guest, they have you covered there. The wedding I’m going to attend in the US is black tie optional, so these guys have definitely been some inspiration!

Long dresses

A long dress might be the way to go in the colder months. You’ll probably be a lot more comfortable walking in the elements.

A dress like this is simple and yet classy. You can easily add different colors to it to make the look pop a bit. I personally would add perhaps a royal red or a royal blue.

A simple yet classy one shoulder dress is another good option! The thing I love about this dress is the many colors that it comes in!

A Day trip to Maro Beach

Maro Beach

One of my favorite things about living in Granada is how close the beach is! Last week, I took a day trip to Nerja with a friend and had an absolute blast. After a quick photo-op in town, we went to the wonderful and secret Maro Beach.

I’m from the Midwest in the United States. Specifically, I’m from the good ole state of Ohio. Most foreigners have barely heard of it. While it’s a great place to grow up, it’s pretty land-locked. The closest beach was at least a 6-hour drive away. So for me, the beach was always reserved for vacation. I went maybe once a year.

It is crazy and awesome to me that the beach is so close here in Granada. So of course a day trip to Maro Beach was in order.
